Lamentations 3:20-27

My soul continually remembers it and is bowed down within me.

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end;

They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.

It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.

[encouraged by those words this morning.]

i want to love.

i want love so deeply that people never feel without.

i want to convey the importance of their life in this world, to this world.

no matter what.

i want to be a change in someone’s life.

i want to make a difference.

i want desperately to be a hand-holder, encourager, friend.

i want to love compassionately, purposefully, and without regard to circumstance.

i want to remind people that everyone, everyone, makes mistakes.

but God always gives us beauty for our ashes.
