to a very dear friend.

i made a decision to room with you before i even knew you.

i soon found out that we shared a love for cleanliness (which other unsaid roommate was not a fan of), lists and food.

italy stole your heart first, and then mine. oh, how i love that country…can we go live there for a few months, please?

eclairs will always be on my “favorite” food memories. so will making bread with the other end of the serving spoon or the blue spatula melting in our risotto.

watching you conquer your fear of playing piano in front of others. you rocked the talent show.

babysitting your favorite animal…oh how the love of beethoven soothes one’s soul!

eating Bailey’s Irish Creme Cheesecake and wishing we hadn’t split it.

enjoying the concoction we made up last New Years…what did we call it, “tropical aj”? it was good. so very good.

eating a lemon bar from the best bakery ever.

laughing hysterically at our “freezer” situation with aforementioned unsaid roommate. i remember crying from laughter at the hilarity of the situation.

i hope this brightened your day. be encouraged friend.

i love this quote from the movie Little Women, “you have so many extraordinary gifts; how can you expect to lead an ordinary life? You’re ready to go out and – and find a good use for your talent. Tho’ I don’t know what I shall do without my Jo. Go, and embrace your liberty. And see what wonderful things come of it.”

I can’t think of a more loyal, sweet, giving, and nurturing person. You rock my world as well, Miss A :)
